 The Cumbrian Optical Company was born around a kitchen table in the midst of a large company take over by a big national chain of opticians.  As is always the way in these high finance deals there is some collateral damage and Brampton looked like it might lose a well loved optical practice.  But Katie McClure wouldn't let that happen.
